MAJOR LEAGUE QUADBALL EVENT MEDIA POLICY

All media captured at Major League Quadball events is copyrighted by Major League Quadball (MLQ). By attending an MLQ event as a player, spectator, volunteer, vendor, official (referee, snitch) or in any other capacity, you are granting MLQ the right to use any and all images, videos or any other media in all forms captured at MLQ events whether now known or hereafter devised in perpetuity in any manner MLQ sees fit. MLQ reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any MLQ event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video or that of the creator. MLQ reserves the right to remove or add any watermark as they see fit. Upon entering an MLQ event, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release in digital and print publications or other media material including but not limited to: news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media or any other purpose to be used, produced or contracted by MLQ and its approved affiliates and representatives. You release MLQ, its volunteers, employees, board members and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or of such use. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video or audio recording taken by MLQ or the person or entity designated to do so by MLQ. MLQ reserves the right to add or change these policies at any time.

MAJOR LEAGUE QUADBALL MEDIA USE POLICY FOR PUBLICATIONS

CREDIT

Any published image(s) must clearly display the photo tag line ‘Photo: [Name]/mlquadball.com’ alongside each image. There is no exception to this policy unless otherwise agreed in writing with the company prior to the image(s) being published. You acknowledge that by receiving image(s) the ownership of the image does not get transferred to You, the publication or individual, and you must not claim that it is Yours. Your license is non-transferable, which means that You, the publication or individual, are not allowed to sell, rent, give, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the image or the right to use the image to anyone else.

PERMITTED USES

Upon approval of your request, you may use the approved image(s) only for the purpose which you specified while placing the request. Any additional usage requirements must be arranged with MLQ immediately and will be subject to a new approval for new or additional use.

PROHIBITED USES

You may NOT use any image received in the following ways unless they are expressly permitted by MLQ in writing prior to its use:

  • In electronic items for resale, such as website templates, document templates, wallpapers, screensavers, e-cards or similar products that you intend to sell or distribute.

  • For creating printed reproductions that you intend to sell. On physical items for resale and ‘print on demand’ items such as t-shirts, postcards, mouse pads, coffee mugs, calendars (e.g. on sites like Cafepress, Etsy or Photobox) or on any similar mass produced items that would contain the image in a dominant way.

  • For pornographic, unlawful or other immoral purposes, for spreading hate or discrimination, or to defame or victimize other people, societies and/or cultures.

  • In a way that would make people assume that the person(s) depicted on the Image is/are endorsing a certain product or a service.

  • In a way that could give a bad name to either the photographer or the person(s) depicted in the Image, including illustrating sensitive social subjects such as health issues, crime, sexual preferences, drug abuse or similar issues.

  • As part of a business name, trademark, service mark or logo. Selling and redistribution of the image (individually or along with any other images) is strictly forbidden.
