The Minneapolis Monarchs is an MLQ franchise based in Minneapolis, Minn. The Monarchs practice in their home city. Minneapolis was selected as an expansion location after the success of the unofficial quadball team, the Minnesota Voyageurs. The Monarchs kicked off their MLQ run under the management of Taylor Zastrow and coaching tutelage of Cody Narveson.
